In the Middle Ages, the Portuguese route was developed along the river, sea and land routes traced by the Romans and Muslims. Its antiquity could be as great as that of the French Way. From Tui walking towards Santiago, you can enjoy the incredible Galician landscapes, passing through mountains, estuaries and charming villages.

The Portuguese Way gives you the chance to get the Compostelana once you arrive in the city of Santiago de Compostela.

Our Camino de Santiago routes are designed so that you can make the most of your experience. For this, there has to be a balance between the time you will have to see the towns along the way and the trekking time between the different points of the route.

Doing some routes of the Camino de Santiago is a must to do at least once in a lifetime. Every year more and more people become pilgrims to enjoy this great experience. It does not matter whether you are a believer or not, as it is about living an experience of your own, enjoying nature, meeting new people and ultimately, travelling in a different way.
