PARQUE NATURAL COMPLEXO DUNAR DE CORRUBEDO NATURAL PARK
The Corrubedo Dune Complex Natural Park o simply Parque Natural De Corrubedo comprises dunes and beaches. What exactly is it about? It is a complex made up of dunes, a beach (the famous Corrubedo beach) and the Vixan lagoons but the attraction is the mobile dune of Corrubedo.
The mobile dune of this open space is located between the Arousa and Muros and Noia estuaries and is of considerable size.
Thanks to this dune, this natural park is the most visited in Galicia.
GERES-XURES TRANSBOUNDARY BIOSPHERE RESERVE
The Geres-Xures transboundary biosphere reserve is a protected area stretching between Spain and Portugal, forming one of the largest transboundary reserves in the European Union. It was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2009 and includes the Baixa Limia – Serra do Xurés Natural Park.
It is a very interesting area because you can admire the monumental and artistic remains of the people who lived here.

NATIONAL MARITIME-TERRESTRIAL PARK OF THE ATLANTIC ISLANDS OF GALICIA
In the heart of the Rías Baixas, we find the National Maritime-Terrestrial Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia.. As its name suggests, it is an area rich in marine and terrestrial life.
It is a park located between the Rías and the Atlantic Ocean, the Cíes and Ons islands as well as the islands of Cortegada and Sálvora.
There are many natural attractions; one not to be missed is the view of Monte Faro, the highest point of the Cíes Islands.
It is an area that is not only rich in flora, but also has a great variety of fauna, such as the herring gull or the crested gull.
LAS UBIÑAS-LA MESA NATURAL PARK
Located in the south of Asturias, Las Ubiñas-La Mes Natural Park has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO for its biological richness (2012).
This natural territory is home to more than half of the plant families of Asturias.
In this area there is one of the richest rock art sites in northwest Spain (Cuevas de Fresnedo), and you can admire pictorial representations from the Bronze and Iron Ages.
As for the fauna, you can find, for example, beech, oak and birch trees and 3 endangered species such as the Asturian daffodil, the trumpet daffodil and the gentian.
PICOS DE EUROPA NATIONAL PARK
The Picos de Europa National Park owes its name to the rock formations in the area.
Here you can see animals such as the brown bear and the Iberian wolf. There are also unmissable natural sites such as the Naranjo de Bulnes, the Cares itinerary and the Mirador del Trombo viewpoint.
There are also 17 viewpoints, distributed throughout the complex, from which you will be able to see a marvellous view.

ATLANTIC ISLANDS NATIONAL PARK OF GALICIA
Here we are in a protected area comprising the islands of Ons, Cies, Sálvora and Cortegada, in the provinces of La Coruña and Pontevedra.
There is much variety and richness in nature: the kelp forests and underwater fauna are examples of the valuable biodiversity they harbour. The vegetation of the Atlantic Islands is full of gorse, ferns, meadows, pine and eucalyptus. There is also a very special plant called Cytisus insulares, known as xesta.
The highest point we can see is on one of the Cíes Islands, at 197 metres above sea level.
