In the region of Galicia there is a rich tradition and diversity of styles that reflect the cultural identity of Galicia, which as we know is a northeastern region with its own language and culture. Galician traditional music has its roots in Celtic culture, handed down from century to century. One of the most representative genres of Galician music is the bagpipe (similar to the Scottish bagpipe), played by the gaiteiros (bagpipers).
